Practicing with Rachel will give you building blocks to explore the way you want to move, release tension, and build strength. Rachel practices structural yoga therapy that relieves aches and pains, improves and restores posture, and increases stamina and vitality. A movement-based practice, like Yoga, is key to sustained healthy living.

Rachel teaches yoga inspired by 3 natural forces  


Rajas Yoga


We play with the "energy body" through breath and repetitive movements. We move the energy held in the seven centers (chakras) of the body making us feel alive and energized. 



Tamas Yoga


Through stillness and mindful movements we experience Tamas Yoga. We calm our nervous systems by activating the relaxation response (parasympathetic nervous system) through practicing restorative yoga.  



Sattva Yoga


A natural progressive Yoga sequence moving through a series of specially arranged postures coordinating movement with breath, flowing from one pose to the next. This practice leaves us feeling balanced and harmonious.


Yoga Nidra


Yoga Nidra or yogic sleep is also a specialized practice Rachel teaches through individual sessions or in small groups. We dive deep into our inner world connecting to our mind and body. We drop into the parasympathetic nervous system training your mind to disengage the fight or flight response. In this state of relaxation you may address any issues or stress in your daily life. You can learn this passive meditation practice to support your emotional wellness transforming pain into peace. If you feel overwhelmed and exhausted, this is the perfect practice for you!
